La Arboleda mining village
Discover a miners' neighbourhood and a restored house in La Arboleda (Trapagaran). This is one of the best-preserved mining communities in Europe: a place to honour the memory of those who worked tirelessly in the iron mines and to understand their everyday life.
We will meet at the bus stop in La Arboleda and from there, we will begin a short walk through the miners' housing and the mining pits at the industrial heart of the Basque Country.
